Tamarind Concentrate/Paste

This is a thick, ready-to-use form of tamarind made by boiling tamarind pulp and reducing it to a dense paste. It is usually dark brown in colour, tangy, and highly concentrated in flavour. Some commercial products may contain preservatives or added sugars to extend shelf life or enhance taste.
