Rice
Rice (Oryza sativa L.)
Rice is a cereal grain and one of the world’s most important staple foods, consumed by more than half of the global population. It is cultivated primarily in Asia but traded worldwide. In the import–export business, rice is classified broadly into Basmati and Non-Basmati categories, each with specific grain characteristics, aroma, cooking qualities, and regional availability.
